People around here seem to agree, as evidenced by the lines that stretch out the front door. But the lines move fast, and while you’re waiting you can figure out your order - we like their signature one with whitefish salad and nova.

This isn’t a cheap bagel shop. At Ess-a-Bagel it cost $25 for two bagels and two coffees. Worth it though. When in New York City, finding an incredible, authentic bagel shop is a must. Ess-a-bagel needs to be on your list from breakfast through to lunch.
